Everyone who plays the demo is in

No sign-up, no Discord, no purchase. Play the free demo on Steam during Next Fest and every run that ends inside the contest window counts automatically.

The one thing to keep: your Player Code. You'll find it in the game under Settings → Player Code and on the Leaderboard screen. The winner claims the prize with it.

How It Works

Three steps. One controller.

Get the free demo

Download the Callejero demo from the Steam store page. It's free on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Go as far as you can

Clear the 8-level run, choose Continue (Endless), and keep climbing. Your level is sent to the leaderboard when the run ends.

Highest level wins. On a tie, whoever got there first wins.

Keep your Player Code

The leaderboard shows codes half-hidden, like ABCD-••••. Only you can see the full code, in Settings → Player Code.

Top of the board on Oct 26? Your full code is how you prove it's you.

Official Rules

No purchase necessary. The Callejero demo is free on Steam.
Contest window: October 19, 2026 at 17:00 UTC (19:00 CEST) to October 26, 2026 at 17:00 UTC (18:00 CET). Only runs that end inside this window count.
A run's level is recorded when the run ends: when you're defeated, or when you return to the menu after winning. Runs still in progress at the deadline don't count.
One winner: the player at the top of the leaderboard when the window closes. Ties go to whoever reached that level first.
The winner chooses a Steam Controller or a $100 Steam gift card when confirmed. No swapping afterwards.
The Steam Controller ships when Valve makes it available, with no fixed date. If it can't be shipped to the winner's country, the winner receives the $100 Steam gift card instead. The gift card is delivered digitally within a week of confirmation.
To claim, the winner contacts us on our Discord within 14 days of the announcement with their full Player Code and a screenshot of it in the game. We may ask for a short recording or a re-run to confirm the result. If the prize isn't claimed in time, it passes to the next player on the board.
Cheating, save editing, modified game files and exploiting bugs are grounds for disqualification. Any score can be removed if it can't be verified.
Winner announced October 30, 2026 on Discord and the Callejero Steam page.
