Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Gray Cat Gaming makes the game Callejero and runs graycatgaming.com. This page explains what information the game and the website collect, why, and how to have it deleted. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
In the game
Player Code
The first time you play, the game creates a random code for your installation (for example ABCD-2345). It isn't linked to your name or email. You can see it in Settings → Player Code. We use it to group your feedback and, during giveaways, to identify the winner.
Leaderboard (during giveaways)
When a run ends, the game sends your Player Code, the level you reached, the game version and your operating system (Windows, macOS or Linux) to our leaderboard. The public leaderboard, in the game and on this website, only shows the first half of the code (for example ABCD-••••).
Feedback and run statistics
The game sends basic run statistics when a run ends, and your answers if you fill in a feedback popup. This can include your rating and any text you type, the level reached, number of kills, play time, the game version, your operating system, your Player Code and, if Steam is running, your Steam ID. We use this only to find bugs and improve the game.
Steam
Achievements and the game's store page are handled by Steam. Valve's privacy policy applies to anything Steam does.
On this website
- Newsletter: if you sign up, we store your email address and the date you signed up, only to tell you about Callejero. Ask us and we'll remove it.
- Wishlist verification for our Discord: if you use it, your Discord account and Steam account are checked to confirm Callejero is on your public Steam wishlist and give you the Discord role. Short-lived cookies (30 minutes or less) keep you signed in during that check. We don't keep a copy of your Discord or Steam details afterwards.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites.
Where it's stored
Game feedback, run statistics, leaderboard scores and newsletter emails are stored in Google Sheets in our Google account, and received through Google Apps Script. The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Both may process data outside your country under their own data-protection terms.
How long we keep it
Feedback and run statistics are kept while the game is in development. Giveaway leaderboard data is kept until the prize has been delivered and any questions about the result are settled. Newsletter emails are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your choices
- You can play without sending feedback: the feedback popups are optional.
- You can ask to see or delete the information linked to your Player Code or email address. Contact us on our Discord and include your Player Code or email.
- If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Children
Callejero and this website are not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
